UPT is a Hamburg based shipping company, which provides commercial management, marketing, chartering & commercial operations services to the tanker shipping industry.

The activities include the commercial management of the UPT Handy-, the UPT Panamax- and the UPT Coastal Pool, which comprise a fleet of double hull product tankers in the size ranges 11-17,000 dwt (UPT Coastal Pool), 33-40,000 dwt (UPT Handy Pool) and 70-85,000 dwt (UPT Panamax Pool) respectively.

Our ships mainly distribute clean and dirty petroleum products in Europe, the Mediterranean and the USA. Key customers include the oil companies, -traders, government entities and other logistics providers.

UPT has secured a strong position in the trade by optimising fleet capacity through skilful combination of time charters, spot voyages and contracts of affreightment.

With the size of our fleet and the variety of vessel specifications on offer, we provide a very flexible, cost effective, safe and environmentally friendly transportation of oil products.

UPT is also active in the new-building and project sector, where our partners and their international financial institutions rely on the market and contract expertise offered by the UPT team.
