Graduated from Stockholm University with a Bsc in Business and Finance in 1992. Christos worked therafter for several years in Greece, firstly with Marine Management Services and later with Europa Chartering as a Shipbroker. By 1998 Christos engaged himself in the financial markets acting as a fund manager and as an investment advisor. With the desire to return to shipping he moved to Hamburg and took up employment with UPT in January 2003
