Hanno graduated as Shipbroker in July 1998 from Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and worked with a number of dry cargo companies in Germany and abroad. Before joining UPT United Product Tankers in October 2007, he worked 7 years at the Hamburg based shipbroker Frachtcontor Junge as executive tanker chartering person for a fleet of 12 panamax size OBO-carriers, including spot chartering and time charter projects.
