Second UPT Social Day

15/07/2016

On Saturday, 9th July 2016, the second UPT Social Day took place at the “Stadtmodell Wilhelmsburg” which is an art project bringing together kids and teens to build a mini version of a district in Hamburg. It helps the kids – many of them with a migration background – to participate in a common project und to learn and develop intercultural competences and international understanding.

The UPT “taskforce” performed gardening, mounted a drip rail to a trailer, assisted in building a platform for a beehive and executed foundation works for new rainwater storage tanks.

Again it was a good experience to donate our common workforce to a joint project helping others and at the same enhancing the team spirit within UPT.
